The Rolls-Royce Class

After the recent success of their Valentine’s Day Brunch Meet, Eastern India Motoring Group (EIMG) was back with yet another beautifully curated event in the form of The Lake Club – EIMG Vintage and Classic Car Show which was held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at The Lake Club, Kolkata.

Mr. Shrivardhan Kanoria, President – EIMG handpicked around 80 heritage vehicles and categorised them into ten different classes inspired by the world-renowned Pebble Beach and other internationally acclaimed heritage car shows held around the globe.

The oldest car in the show, and also one of the star attractions, was the 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom 1, owned by EIMG President, Mr. Shrivardhan Kanoria.

While each of the 80 selected heritage vehicles on display at the show came with considerable history and brilliant anecdotes from the yesteryear, however, worth a special mention, amongst the classes, was a Rolls-Royce Class, containing five immaculate Rolls-Royces on display that left the audience awestruck. Also present amongst the classes were the Fiat Users Club Of Calcutta Cars (FUCC), which is a brother group of EIMG, with some beautifully restored Fiats on display that tickled the nostalgic nerve among the onlookers. The oldest car in the show, and also one of the star attractions, was the 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom 1, owned by EIMG President, Mr. Shrivardhan Kanoria.
